Kalikot follows the story of Sal, a confident and attractive college professor who moves into a new place located near an auto repair shop. There she meets Arnel, a hardworking young mechanic who becomes fascinated by her after she brings her car to the shop for repairs. As they begin interacting more often, a complicated relationship develops between them. Their connection grows deeper as they share personal stories and emotional struggles. However, their different lifestyles, social status, and responsibilities create tension and uncertainty about where their relationship will lead. Throughout the film, both characters are forced to confront their own insecurities, desires, and the consequences of their choices. Kalikot explores themes of attraction, class differences, and emotional vulnerability while showing how unexpected relationships can change people’s lives
